We can start to hear the distant sounds of Creole rhythms, crashing waves and exotic birds. We can smell aromas of spices and rum drifting along the salty air, blown straight from the faraway tropics. And personally, I’m getting very excited about discovering islands I’ve always dreamed about going to.
As we finalise the plans for this fabulous networking event, we’re starting to get a bit blind sighted by the colours flashing before our eyes. Turquoise waters, red flowers, green turtles, orange spices… how could we not get carried away?
I think I’m going to start using tribal drums for my alarm clock. I’ve already caught one of my colleagues cavorting down the hall.
This event will allow you to escape city life for a few hours and to discover these islands from people who know them inside and out and to see French culture through hibiscus-tinted glasses (the rose-coloured ones, naturally).
It’s all happening, and quickly! We’ve already picked the venue, are in the midst of organising the entertainment and will be sending out invitations soon. We’ll be coming at you from all sides to make sure that by the end of the evening, you too will be cavorting back home.
So make sure you mark your calendars for 12 June and click here to register your interest. We’ll keep posting more information on the regions and what they have to offer as part of our weekly chronicles.
In the meantime, we’ll turn up the tropical tunes to 11 and try to stop scaring our colleagues with our terrible dance moves. But that doesn’t mean you have to!
A bientôt!

I’m really looking forward to this event! Sounds like it’ll be a great tropical immersion
